Angelica Grace Blackwell passed away Monday, July 15, 2024. She was 18 years old.

Born September 12, 2005, in Bennettsville, Angelica was a daughter of Willie Curtis Blackwell of Rockingham and Angela Grace Gibson Locklear of Clio. She was employed with Dunkin Donuts of Rockingham and attended Joy Freewill Baptist Church in Hamlet, NC. She enjoyed her job, listening to music, and playing with her nieces and nephews.

Anglica was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Irby and Mary Jane Bass Blackwell.

Along with her parents she is survived by brothers, Cody Blackwell of Greenville, SC, Justin Blackwell of Laurinburg, NC, Aaron and Christopher Blackwell, both of Clio, SC; sisters, Karissa Blackwell of Rockingham, NC, Brianna Hunsucker of Clio, SC, and Mary Blackwell of Bennettsville, SC; maternal grandparents, Gerald Gibson and Martha Thompson; nieces Aliyah Kelly and Aubree McNeil; and nephews, Mason and Zayden Bickel.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, followed by burial in Rogers Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., just prior to the service at the funeral home.
