Angus Yates “Snow Wolf” Locklear passed away, Sunday, December 10, 2023, at his residence after an illness. He was 46 years old.

Yates was born on June 2, 1977, in Laurinburg, NC to the late Blanchard (Shorty) and Betty Carolyn Locklear. He loved watching Football, Duke basketball, playing basketball and trivia, love to grill, and spending time with his family. He was a welder by trade.

He leaves behind to cherish loving memory; wife, Britton McCraw; sons, Angus Yates Locklear, Jr., and Jacob Michael Locklear; stepdaughter, Emerson Kate McCraw; brother, Gerald Locklear and wife Becky; grandchildren, Morgan Caroline Locklear, Gunner Tuff Locklear, Waylon Knox Locklear, and Nakyeah Raine Locklear; nieces and nephews, Ila Locklear, Jared Locklear, Bryce Locklear, Jay Clark, Andrew Currie, Dalton Floyd, Clay Locklear, and Arthur Locklear; many aunts, uncles, and cousin; Brian Cooper, Felicia McColl, Cammie Locklear, Renee Locklear, Charlotte Strickland, and Joy Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, brother, Gene Locklear, and his grandparents, and a special cousin, Mo Locklear.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm, Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Emily Davis. A visitation will be held from 5-6pm just prior to the service.
