Barbara Elaine (Rice) Bullard

Barbara Elaine Rice Bullard, widow of George Edward “Bill” Bullard, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at her residence after an illness. She was 84 years old.

Barbara was born in Charlotte, NC on November 16, 1940, to the late Felix and Virginia Deaton Rice. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She worked as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed watching the Gameshow Network, cooking and baking, shopping at Belk, Elvis, spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grands.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; sons, Frankie Bullard (Wanda Davis) and Jerry Bullard and wife Jane; daughter, Michelle Bullard; brother, Gary Rice and wife Debbie; sisters, Diane Husband and husband Wayne and Pat McGinnis; grandchildren, George Edward “Trey” Ingalls, III and wife Ashley, Bradleigh Bullard, Lainey Bullard, Dylan Bullard, Jay Flowers and wife Amber, Madeline Moore and husband Daniel, and Alex Veal; great grandchildren; Brooks Ingalls, Fitz Ingalls, Hamp Ingalls, Jack Moore, Parker Flowers, and Wyatt Flowers; special friends, Jennifer Hodge, Stacey Plato, and Buzzy Cowan.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents listed above; daughter, Karen Bullard Lawrence; granddaughter, Kelli Bullard; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

A funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, March 21, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Brock Jeffcoat, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home.
