Barbara (Polson) Parker

Barbara Polson Parker, age 61 of Bennettsville, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at her residence after an extended illness.

Barbara was born January 22, 1962, in Bennettsville. She was a daughter of Veda Freeman Polson and the late Bobby Polson. Barbara was a fun-loving person who enjoyed flowers and going to the beach. Most of all, Barbara loved her family and enjoyed being around them. She especially loved her grandchildren, who were closest to her heart.

In addition to her father, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Polson Woodle.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Bryan Parker of the home; a son, Justin Bullard (Brandy) of Dovesville; a daughter, Micha Bullard (Aaron) of Laurinburg, NC; her mother, Veda Polson of Bennettsville; brothers, Robert Polson of Bennettsville and Gary Polson of Ridgeway; a sister, Donna Brigman (Terry) of Bennettsville; two bonus sons, Nakoda Parker and Laydan Parker;  grandchildren, Chloe Caison, Mia Caison, Ian Bullard, and Peyton Bullard; her K-9 son, Abel; several other extended family members also survive.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends just prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
