Billy Ray Graham, age 69 of Bennettsville, SC passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, after an extended illness.

Billy was born on August 30, 1953 in Bennettsville, SC. He was a son of the late Ralph Graham, Sr. and Ila Lee Mumford Graham. Billy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and golf. Billy also coached Little League for several years. He received the Gatorade National Coaching Award for his many years of dedicated service to Little League. Most of all, Billy was a dedicated family man. He loved spending time and making memories with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Graham, Jr.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Lois Sessoms Graham, of the home; sons; Scott Oxendine (Amy) of McColl, Kevin Graham of Bennettsville, and Ben Graham (Teresa) of Garner, NC; sisters, Phyllis Williams of Bennettsville and Teresa Roller (Dale) of Dunbar; three grandchildren;  several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Billy’s honor to the Bennettsville Wesleyan Church 206 Wiltshire Drive Bennettsville, SC 29512.
