Bobby Lee Taylor passed away on Thursday morning, November 14, 2024, in Laurinburg, NC.

Born January 27, 1950, in Scotland County, NC. He was the son of the late John T and Katherine Ransom Taylor. Bobby held several different jobs throughout his life which included working in tree service removal, as a furniture mover, and at Bright Service Station in Bennettsville. Bobby loved being outside cutting the grass, unwinding and watching a little TV, and most of all spending time with his family

Surviving members of his family include his brother, Roy Lee Taylor (Bobbie Jean) of Bennettsville; his sister, Martha Barfield of Bennettsville; his niece, Linda Carol Huckabee of Bennettsville; his nephew, Justin Locklear of Bennettsville; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John & Katherine as listed above; his brothers, James W Taylor, Johnny Jr Taylor; and his infant sister, Dorothy Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Monday, November, 18, 2024 at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel in Bennettsville with a visitation starting an hour prior at 1 p.m. A burial will follow immediately at Fletcher’s Chapel cemetery.
