Charles Clifton Driggers, Sr., age 81 of Bennettsville, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, after an extended illness.
Charles was born November 8, 1943, in Blenheim, SC. He was a son of the late Robert Clifton and Vera Hayes Driggers. He was self-employed as an auto body technician. Charles owned and operated Driggers Body Shop for 50 years. He was an avid sports fan. Charles loved the Green Bay Packers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. He also enjoyed watching tv, especially NASCAR and drag racing.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Francis Driggers, James Lee Driggers, and Bobby Driggers.
Charles is survived by his son, Cliff Driggers of Bennettsville; and Cliff’s mother, Barbara Jean Brown of Bennettsville.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
