Charles "Chuck" Randolph Karneckis

Charles Randolph “Chuck” Karneckis passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at his residence. He was 77 years old.

Born in Bennettsville on September 4, 1946, Chuck was the son of the late Frank J. Sr and Louise Covington Karneckis. Chuck was the Maintenance Supervisor for United Technologies for many years. Upon leaving United Technologies he sought employment with Ox Bodies in Bennettsville where he retired as CEO. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, working on cars, carpentry work, and playing cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above; brother, Johnny Karneckis; and stepson, Andy Keith.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Patricia “Trish” Karneckis of the home; daughter, Kappi Karneckis of Hawaii; stepson, Jay Keith (Julie) of Camden; stepdaughters, Monica Heckendorn (Steve) of Virginia, and McInnis White (Jason) of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Ian Davis, Connor Davis, Skyler McLeod, Natalie White, Will Keith, Preston Keith, and Noah Keith.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Bennettsville.
