Clarence "Mitchell" Blue

Clarence Mitchell Blue passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Scotland Memorial Hospital after an illness. He was 67 years old.

Born in Hamlet, NC on December 29, 1958, to the late Annie Ruth Nolan Blue and the late Clarence Dudley Blue. He was a member of East Laurinburg Church of God. He worked as a long-distance truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing.

Mitchell leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife, Donna Broadway Blue; sons, William Sweatt and Bobby Sweatt; daughter, Amanda Dorsey; daughter-in-law, Samantha Blue Westerbeck; brothers, Tim Blue and wife Trish and Phillip Scott Blue and wife Sherita; sister, Lynda Edwards and husband Van; grandchildren, Rylan Blue, Jaxon Blue, and Johanna Blue.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and son, Eric Mitchell Blue.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00pm, Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Burroughs Funeral Home with burial to follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Joey Williams and Rev. Jerry Goins. A visitation will be from 2-3pm just prior to the service.
