Mrs. Connie Strickland Anderson, 67, of Bennettsville passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.
Connie was born in Bennettsville on July 22, 1957, to Christine and the late Hawkins Strickland. Connie spent many of her summers running camp Horizon in Bennettsville and was frequently recognized by former students and campers. She enjoyed spending time on the Grand Strand with her family fishing, swimming, and playing in the surf while listening to beach music. Connie was a huge Gamecock fan and enjoyed following their women’s basketball team, although her favorite games to watch were those of her grandsons, who called her “Cici”.
Above all of the accomplishments, hobbies and accolades, what Connie cherished most was her family.
