Daniel Edward Newberry passed away, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, after a sudden illness. He was 63 years old.

Daniel was born in Bennettsville, SC, on December 31, 1961, to the late George B. Newberry, Jr and the late Janie Johnson. He retired from Crown Cork & Seal, after 27 years of service. He was a past Master of Masonic Lodge 88. He enjoyed watching westerns with his grandbabies, eating chocolate doughnuts and drinking coca cola. His most treasured moments were spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife of 44 years, Patricia Ann Irons Newberry; son, Timothy Newberry of Bennettsville, SC ; daughters, Brandi Newberry (Rocky) of Red Springs, NC, and Danielle Newberry (Jarrod) of Bennettsville, SC; brother, Daryl Newberry of Bennettsville, SC; sister, Lisa Newberry Bailey (Mike) of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Alexa Lowery, Taylor Lowery, Quinlee Lowery, Kayden Newberry, and Kaylee Freeman; and a host of relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brother, George b. Newberry, III; and niece, April Coxe.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm, Saturday, May 17,2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Kenny Bryant, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held from 2-3pm, just prior to the service at the funeral home.
