Eddie Phillip Carter, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his residence.

Eddie was born on July 14, 1965 in Lumberton, NC to Betty Lois Hale Carter and the Late Rex Carter. He worked at AAC as a security guard. Eddie enjoyed cooking, listening to music, fishing and watching NASCAR. Most of all Eddie enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father listed above.

Eddie leaves behind to cherish his memory, mother, Betty Lois Clark; special friend, Wanda Quick; brother, Rex Carter, Jr ; sister, Roxanne Carter (Kim Rowland); nephews, Trey, Chris, Isreal; nieces, Sydney, Joylynne; great nephew, Luke; great nieces, LaKara, McKinnley, Hannah, Piper, Polly Rose.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 8, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home.
