Eddie Lee Haywood, Sr.

Mr. Eddie Lee Haywood, Sr. passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at First Health in Pinehurst, NC after an illness. He was 61 years old.

Eddie was born in Scotland County, NC on September 25, 1963, to the late Edward and Lizzie Jane Quick Haywood. He was a member of the United States National Guard. He was a CDL Truck Driver. He loved sports, playing softball, watching NASCAR, but most of all spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Eddie leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; sons, Brian Haywood and wife Brenda and Eddie Lee Haywood, Jr.; daughter, Lizzie Haywood; grandchildren, Shyanne, Lil Brian, Savannah, Kaiden, Kayne, Hayden, Allyssa, and Derick; sister, Sandra Haywood.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and brother, Ricky Haywood.

A visitation will be held from 4-6pm Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home.
