Eleanor Marie (Dial) Fine

Eleanor Marie Dial Fine, 81, passed away, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her residence.

Born October 20, 1941, in Blenheim, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Cousar and Marcella Driggers Dial. She was married to the late Ace Larue Fine. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bennettsville and was retired from Owens-Illinois in Hamlet, NC. She was a graduate of Lower Marlboro High School in Blenheim, SC.

She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, Clemson Tigers, listening to the Marlboro County Bulldogs, and talking on the phone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Eddie Dial and James Thomas Dial, sister, Annie Askins, nephews, Richard Kelly and Gregory Askins, niece, Cynthia Pruitt.

Mrs. Eleanor is survived by her children, Nancy Fine, Lisa Fine and Larue Fine, Jr., all of Bennettsville, SC, sister, Deborah Kelly of Largo, FL, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 3 until 4 p.m. just prior to the service at the church.
