Elizabeth Irene (Quick) Wallace

Mrs. Elizabeth Irene Quick Wallace passed away, Sunday, February 13, 2022, after an illness at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. She was 90 years old.

Irene was born in Marlboro County, SC on June 17, 1931, to the late Shuford, Sr. and Dessie Chavis Quick. She attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She loved talking to people, watching Atlanta Braves, and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; husband, Jessie “Skip” Harry Wallace, Jr.; 1 son; 1 daughter; sister, Esther “Beck” Quick; several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents above and 11 brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Vaughn Chichester. The family will receive friends after the service.
