Eric Shane Bozard

Eric Shane Bozard passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at First Health Moore Regional. He was 48 years old.

Born March 17, 1976, in Bennettsville, Eric was a son of Dennis and Joyce Bozard. He was a Physical Therapist Assistant, employed with Cheraw Healthcare and CareSouth Carolina’s McColl Health and Wellness Center. Eric was an ordained deacon in the Baptist church and attended Bruton’s Fork Baptist Church in Bennettsville. His greatest treasure was his beautiful daughter, Kody. He was an expert marksman and an avid outdoorsman, always enjoying hunting, fishing, and archery. Eric also enjoyed woodworking with his dad, Dennis. He had an eye for detail and design. Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ryan and Ruby Bozard and maternal grandparents, Cecil and Christine Nolan.

Along with his parents, Eric is survived by his daughter, Kody Elizabeth Bozard of Cheraw; brother, Robert Lyle Bozard (Angel) of Charleston; two nephews, Paul Bell and Ryan Bozard; two nieces, Elise and Bella Bozard; and many other beloved family members and friends.

To honor and remember Eric, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Bruton’s Fork Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
