Faye Regina (Perkins) Nolan

Faye Regina Perkins Nolan, age 71 of Bennettsville, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at her residence.

Faye was born on September 26, 1953, in Bennettsville. She was a daughter of the late Henry Sherman and Kathleen Pate Perkins. Faye was a strong willed, fiercely independent woman. She was a devout Christian. She was a former member and Sunday School teacher at Mt. Elem Freewill Baptist Church. Faye was an avid reader who also loved birds. Most of all, Faye loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Faye is survived by her sons, Gary Freeman (Ashley) of Maxton, NC, and Matthew Nolan of New Bern, NC; daughters, Lori Ann Barrington (Anthony) of Cheraw, and Heather Lynn Graham of Hartsville; sisters, Joyce Ellen Brown of Cheraw and Susie Patterson (Mickey) of Laurinburg, NC; grandchildren, Britney Padilla, Logan Purvis, Elijah Sports, Danica Graham, Piper Graham, and Freya Nolan; great grandchildren, Natalie Padilla and Sadie Dixon; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

The family will have a celebration of Faye’s life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday prior to the service.
