Born in McColl, SC, Gene was a son of the late John C. And Ruth White Williams. He grew up and remained in the McColl area and married Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Clark. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Gene was a man of character, known for his welcoming personality, kindness, and humility. He had a big heart and a sweet smile. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed.
