Jesse James Williams, IV age 20 of McColl, passed away on Friday November 25, 2022.

Jesse was born October 19, 2002, in Laurinburg, NC. He was a son of Jessie Wayne and Wendy Driggers Williams. Jesse was a graduate of Marlboro County High School and was employed at Harbor Freight in Dillon. Jesse attended East Laurinburg Church of God. He was a big Tar Heels fan and loved sports, especially football and baseball. Jesse also loved playing softball. He was a jokester and a talented storyteller. Jesse loved to keep everybody laughing and enjoyed hanging out with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Debra Penfield Williams.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Jessie Wayne and Wendy Williams of McColl; brothers, Kaleb Williams (Emilee), Kutler Williams, and Dawson Williams all of McColl; a sister, Leigh-Annah Williams of McColl; paternal grandparents, Jesse II and Cathy Williams of McColl; maternal grandparents, Larry and Virginia Driggers of Wallace; maternal great grandmother, Eloise Williamson of Bennettsville; two nieces, Everlee Williams and Kaizlyn Williams; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the McColl Church of God officiated by Rev. Donald Deal and Rev. Brett Davis. Burial will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery in McColl.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at McColl Church of God from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
