Jimmy Clark Sr. passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence after an illness. He was 79 years old.

Jimmy was born in McColl, SC on January 22, 1945, to the late Vander and Lula Mae Turner Clark. He retired from McCarter Electrical, where he worked as an electrician. He enjoyed gardening, riding country roads, listening to country music, but most importantly spending time with his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife Carlee Ann Young Clark; son, Bo Clark and wife Robin; daughter, Samantha Clark; brother, Vander “Sonny” Clark; sisters, Betty Walters and husband Will, Bobbie Clark, Ruby Stubbs, and Macy Cummings; grandchildren, Keemo Owens, Harley Oxendine, Rilley Oxendine, McKenzie Clark, and Courtney Odom (Justin); great grandchildren, Braxton, Easton, and Jenni-Kaye; special friend, Robert “Coon” Grooms.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and siblings, Mary, Martha, Buddy, and Carson.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jerry Goins. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm just prior to the service.
