John F Thompson, age 98, passed away on August 4, 2024, after a brief illness.
Mr. Thompson was born in Marlboro County to loving parents, John Frank and Florence McLean Thompson. He attended Marlboro County schools having graduated from Fletcher High School. In 1945, John married the love of his life, Luna Hayes. Together, they operated Breeden Grocery until their retirement.
