Joseph "Doc" Thomas Frazier

Joseph Thomas “Doc” Frazier, age 64, of Bennettsville, SC, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on April 10, 2026.

Born on November 30, 1961, in Marlboro County, Doc was the son of Carol Jean Wilkerson Frazier and the late Leonard W. “L.W.” Frazier. He attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Bennettsville. Doc spent many years working as a machine operator in the textile and manufacturing industries before becoming disabled.

Doc will be remembered for his love of life and the things that brought him joy—especially his beloved wife, Dana, as well as hunting, fishing, NASCAR (with a special admiration for Jeff Gordon), Clemson Tigers football, and the Miami Dolphins.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother, Carol Jean Wilkerson Frazier; his devoted wife, Dana Hardie Frazier; his sons, Joseph “Bud” Frazier, Richard “Runt” Frazier, Bryan Frazier, Aaron “Tay” Malloy, Ralph “RJ” Malloy, and Michael “Mike” Malloy; his brother, Michael Edward Frazier (Vanessa); his sisters, Lisa Frazier Galloway (Darryl), Debbie Frazier Quick (Chris), and Rebecca Jean “Becky” Keith; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Charlie “Whaa” Odom and Tommy “Brama” Ainsworth.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Frazier, and his grandparents, JT and Alice Frazier.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bennettsville, officiated by Rev. Thomas Buck. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home of Lisa Galloway, 783 Hwy 9 East, Bennettsville, SC 29512.
