Judy Sligh Rogers passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was 71 years old.

Judy was born in Bennettsville on November 21, 1953, to the late Harry Gantt and Katie Pope Sligh. She was an OIC for the United States Postal Service in Blenheim, SC. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved reading, cross word puzzles, spending time with her Grandkids and family. She was the best wife and mother anyone could ask for.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; husband, David Norman Rogers; daughters, Erica Rogers Hall (Edward) and Alice Katherine “Katie” Cunningham (Christopher); grandchildren, Kayla Barfield, Luke Hall, and Ashton Cunningham; nephew, Shane Sligh (Ashley); nieces, Susan Sligh (Robert); great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, brother, Steve Sligh, sister-in-law, Peggy Sue Brown Sligh.

A funeral service will be held 11am, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home.
