Bennettsville, SC.
Justin “Bubba” Erwin Haithcock, Jr., 39, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born on July 26, 1986, in Florence, SC, Bubba was the son of Justin Erwin Haithcock, Sr. and the late Karen Driggers Haithcock. He attended Bennettsville Emmanuel Holiness Church. Before becoming disabled, he worked for the South Carolina Department of Transportation and owned and operated 2nd Chance Hauling, LLC.
Bubba had a passion for life and never did anything halfway. He loved fishing, hunting, drag racing, operating equipment, working in the yard, and all things sports-related. He lived life “wide open”—including his mouth. Known for being the life of the party, he was always ready to joke, laugh, and bring joy to those around him. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved wife and children, who were his world.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ashleigh Lockamy Haithcock; his children, Justin “Trece” Erwin Haithcock III (Haley), Logan Haithcock (Makel), Lindsay Haithcock, and Isabella Bittle; his father, Justin Erwin Haithcock, Sr. (Linda Kay); his brother, Zackary Quick (Ramzee); sisters, Karen Justina “Tina” Haithcock and Brigette Kubas (Brad); and two special nephews, Skeeter Norris and Cutler Norris. He is also fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Bubba was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Driggers Haithcock; his grandparents, Jasper Monroe Driggers, Jean Mudd Driggers, and Linda Taylor.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Revs. Ervin Taylor and John Quick. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery.
