Kathryn Eleane (Edens) Hubbard

Kathryn Edens Hubbard passed away at the age of 87 on Saturday, January 6, 2024, peacefully at home with her granddaughter Sara and daughter Jackie by her side.

Kathryn was born August 9, 1936, in Spokane, Washington. She was the daughter of the late Gordon W. Edens and Eleane O’Donnell Edens. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Hubbard, a daughter Anna Hubbard, a grandson Jason Lockamy, along with two sisters and a brother.

Kathryn is survived by her son, John Hubbard (Kim) of Mars Hill, NC; daughters, Angela Averette (Gary) of Florence, SC, Kay Rowe (Don) of Hartsville, SC, and Jacqueline Nolan (Jerry) of Clio, SC, Margaret Ann Newton (Douglas) of Clio, SC, Mary Doug Gabriel (Peter) of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Hebron Cemetery in Clio, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service there in the cemetery.
