Kenneth Eugene “Brad” Brady, Jr. passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was 62 years old.
Born June 5, 1962, in Conway, SC, Brad was the son of Faye Doyle Brady and the late Kenneth Eugene Brady. He served in the U.S Army as a young man and spent most of his adult life in Virginia with his wife, Patsy, raising their three sons. While in Virginia, Brad was a member of Living Word Baptist Church where he and Patsy worked with the youth. Upon moving to Bennettsville, he attended Bristow Freewill Baptist Church. He worked in the construction industry and had many talents. Brad was a sports enthusiast and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed the beach, fishing, yardwork, grilling, and decorating outdoors for holidays. He was also a craftsman and skilled at woodworking. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed country music and old westerns. He was devoted and faithful to his family and friends, always showing up if there was a need. He loved life and celebrating with his family, most recently at his niece’s wedding, sharing his last dance with his sister and friend, Darlene. Brad loved his family and was tremendously proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Patsy Brady of VA; sons, Adam Brady of Ky, and Todd and Kyle Brady of Va; mother, Faye Brady of Bennettsville; sister, Angela Darlene Brady of Bennettsville; grandchildren Jaiden, Karsyn, Hunter, Presley, Tyler, Hennessie, Ryan, Haylen and Liam; and many other beloved family members and friends.
Brad was preceded in death by his father, listed above.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Julius Bunch. The family will receive friends briefly, following the service at the cemetery.
