Mr. Larry Barton passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his niece’s residence after a brief illness. He was 66 years old.

Larry was born in Laurinburg, NC on December 10, 1957, to the late Leroy and Arizona “Arzella” Locklear Barton. Before becoming disabled he worked as a farmer and landscaper. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching racing, wrestling, SCIFI, and westerns. He was a fan of the Cowboys and Gamecocks. He loved spending time with his son and family.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; son, Lee Barton; brother, Roosevelt Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brother, Herbert Barton; sisters, Catherine Hunt Hazel Caulder.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, October 25, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with burial at Laurinburg Memorial Park in Laurinburg, NC. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm just prior to the service.
