Mr. Larry Allen McCall passed away peacefully Monday, June 9, 2025, at his home after a short battle with cancer.

Larry was born in Marlboro County, SC on September 27, 1956, to Effie Mae Geddings McCall and Albert Boyd McCall. Larry was a former millwright and painter. He enjoyed fishing, music, reading, cooking, watching westerns, and spending time with his family. Larry believed in living life to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Effie McCall; brothers, Arnold McCall, Ronald McCall (Kathleen), Lanny McCall; sister, Carolyn Romine; stepson Jesse Brown.

Larry leaves behind to cherish his memories: his brothers, Tony McCall, Bobby McCall, Zanny McCall (Penny) and Billy McCall; sisters, Pauline Lytch and Marie Sheppard (Jeff); stepdaughters, Melissa Brown Parker and Donna Brown Honeycutt; special nephews, Ronnie McCall (Lori Jo) and Johnathan McCall (also his caregiver); special nieces, Catherine McCall and Lisa McCall McIntyre; and many other nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Bennettsville, SC. Visitation will be held from 1pm – 2pm, and service will begin at 2pm. There will be no graveside service.

Larry will be laid to rest at The McCall Homestead.
