Lois Marie (Stump) Sweatt

Lois Marie Stump Sweatt, 80, of McColl, SC passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 after an illness. She was born May 25, 1941 in Campbell County, Va., a daughter of Joseph N. Stump and Dorothy Webber Stump. Mrs. Sweatt was a member of Kingdom Life Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Stump; her husband, Paul T. Sweatt, Sr., a son, Paul T. Sweatt, Jr.; a brother, Lewis Stump; and a sister, Brenda Burns.

Survivors include 2 sons, James N. Sweatt (Kellie) and Terry L. Sweatt (Carol); four daughters, Dottie Nicholson (Randy), Beth Gashaw (Jimmy), Sherry Gibson (Brian) and Ashley Carmichael (Travis); a godson, Billy Cheek (Marie); two brothers, Pete Stump (Dianne) and Sam Stump (Sue); a sister, Joan Campbell (Doug); seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday at Burroughs Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Kingdom Life Church - 160 High St. Blenheim, SC 29516. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
