Lynda Miller Carroll, age 81 of Bennettsville, passed away on September 22, 2025, after an extended illness.
Lynda was born October 19, 1943, in Marlboro County. She was a daughter of the late Ancel Miller and Cleo Hood. Lynda worked for many years in textiles at JP Stevens and Hanes Hosiery. She also worked in the Marlboro County Treasurer’s Office. After that, Lynda joined her husband at the family business, Revel’s BBQ and Landmark Restaurant. She remained there as owner and operator until her retirement. Lynda had a generous heart, often donating food to the local shelters. She was a former member of Middendorf Church of God. Lynda loved Marlboro Academy and the Clemson Tigers. More than anything, Lynda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Terri Lynn Bundy; her husband, Rochell Carroll; and a sister and brother-in-law, Judy Miller Boan and husband Larry.
Lynda is survived by her son, Gary Carroll (Connie) of Cheraw; grandchildren, Patrick Rochell Carroll (Remi) of Simpsonville, Nicolas Bron Carroll of Columbia, Jackson Andrew Carroll of Fountain Inn, Matt Driggers (Cassie) of Cheraw, and Brooklyn Driggers of Little River; a great grandchild, Beckham Carroll; nephews, Jim Gray (Elizabeth) of Marion and Dougie Boan (Wendy) of Cheraw; nieces, Lisa Gray Cassidy of Cheraw and Sharon Gray Cooper (Wayne) of Wallace; several other extended family members also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Park.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, two hours prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
