Margaret Dailey Daniels passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Bennettsville Rehab after an extended illness. She was 89 years old.
Margaret was born on July 10, 1935 in Marlboro County to her late parents, Jesse Marvin Dailey and Hattie Mae Blue Dailey. She worked in the textile mill as a machine operator for Oak River Mills. She was a proud member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved to take care of people, including her children, grandchildren, and the elderly.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; her sons Michael Polston (Nancy) and Charles Polston; stepdaughter, Bernice Lampley; sister, Patty Hodge, as well as her beloved eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her previously mentioned parents, her five brothers, her sister, and her daughter Marilyn Polston.
A funeral service be held on Tuesday, July 1st, at 2pm at Burroughs Funeral Home of Bennettsville, officiated by Rev. Thomas Buck, with a visitation just prior at 1pm. There will be an immediate burial following the funeral service at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville.
