Marty Allen Walters, age 54 of Hartsville, formerly of Bennettsville, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Marty was born on March 12, 1971, in Marlboro County to the late Bobby and Zena Mumford Walters. Marty worked as a mechanic and a handy man. He could fix anything. Marty loved Nascar and was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by a grandmother, Vivian Clark Crowley; and a stepsister, Amanda Ansay.

Marty is survived by a daughter, Madelyn Walters of Georgia; sisters, Tammy Turner and Crystal Quick of Bennettsville; niece, Gracie Quick; nephews, Mark Quick, Micheal Taylor, Jr., and Josh Taylor; aunt, Anita English of Wallace; uncle, Jesse Mumford of McColl; seven great nieces and nephews; several other extended family members also survive.

A memorial service for Marty will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Tammy, 503 Sherwood Dr. Bennettsville, SC, beginning Saturday, September 13, 2025.
