Mary Lou (Crowley) Lowery

Mary Lou Crowley Lowery age 65, of Cheraw, formerly of Bennettsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her residence.

Mary was born September 23, 1957, in Bennettsville, SC. She was a daughter of the late Tracy and Louise Mumford Crowley. Mary loved music and enjoyed dancing. She was a friendly person who loved talking with her friends. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family. They were the most important thing in her world.

Mary is survived by her husband, David Ray Lowery of the home; a son, David Lowery II of Cheraw; a daughter, Jenny Jackson of Cheraw; a brother, Charles Crowley (Kathy) of Santee. Grandchildren, Billy Clay, Sr, and Jenna Clay; great grandchildren, Billy Clay, Jr., and Wyatt Clay; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Sunset Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
