Mary Elizabeth (Quick) Smith

Mary Elizabeth Quick Smith passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. She was 80 years old.

Mary was born on December 4, 1944, to the late Clarence Buddy Sr. and Eva Mae Jacobs Quick. She was a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church of Bennettsville. She loved her family, especially her grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and a son Ricky John Quick.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; daughter, Linda J. Goins and husband George of Wallace, SC; brother, Arthur Pete Quick of Bennettsville, SC; sister, Mary Ann English of Laurinburg, NC; grandchildren, David Johnson, Jr and wife Jade, Taylor Johnson, Kayla Quick, and Courtney Quick; great grandchildren, Sadie Johnson and Curtis Lee Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, February 21, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with burial at Rogers Cemetery of McColl, officiated by Rev. Barbara Webster. A visitation will be held from 1-2pm just prior to the service.
