Michael David Frye

Mr. Michael David Frye, 65, of Lamar, SC and formerly of Bennettsville, SC passed away Sunday, November 6th, 2022, while at home.

His service will be conducted at 2:00 on Thursday afternoon, November 17th, 2022, from the Hartsville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A native of Marlboro County, SC, he was a son of the late Lindbergh & Hazel Dowdy Frye.  Michael loved going back home to Bennettsville to visit with family and friends.  He was a hard-worker who once worked in the textile industry, and later in life, enjoyed working on the farm.  During his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. 

Surviving are his children, Micah Frye Brown of Bennettsville, SC and Drey Frye of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Layla Brown, Cash Brown, and Willow Brown all of Bennettsville, SC; sister, Elaine Frye Richardson of South Port, NC; aunt, Anna Dean Frye of Bennettsville, SC; also surviving are numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
