Michael Wayne Rivers passed away, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at his residence after an illness. He was 65 years old.

Michael was born in Rembert, SC on December 14, 1958, to the late Kemp S. and Phyllis Evans Rivers. He was a construction worker by trade. He was an avid gun and knife collector. He enjoyed fast cars, reading, and riding ATV’s.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife, Shirley McDowell Rivers; daughters, Tasha Rivers and Angela Johnson; sister, Brenda Rivers Brooks (Tony); sister-in-law, Angel Rivers; grandchildren, Marcus Johnsons, Moquishia “Moe” Johnson, AJ Sierra, and Sophia Sierra.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Stephen Rivers.

There will be no service at this time.
