Michael “Mike” Norris Joye, 64, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at his residence after an illness.

Mike was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, on December 27, 1960, to the late Betty Nolan Joye and Al Joye. He was a mechanic by trade and was well known for his hardworking nature and willingness to help others.

He is survived by his; father, Al Joye; son, Michael Joye (Candace); daughters, Melodie Joye and Jessica Joye; brother, Jeff Joye (Jenny); sister, Betty Carol McElroy (Scott); several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his mother listed above, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Mitch Joye.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Foster officiating.
