Michelle Lynn Parker passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at her residence in Bennettsville. She was 50 years old.

Born July 18, 1972, in Bennettsville, Michelle was the daughter of the late Ronald Shelton Parker, Sr and Autry Sheppard Parker. She was a graduate of Marlboro County High School and was a homemaker. Michelle was a 49ers fan and enjoyed watching TV with her mother and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Ronald Parker, Jr. and William “Happy” Parker.

In addition to her mother Michelle is survived by her husband, Jose Barragan; daughter, Michaela Parker of Bennettsville; brothers, Richard Parker (Kristie) of Rockingham, Tommy Pearce (Tasha) of Bennettsville, and Jerry Parker (Elizabeth) of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Adrianna and Noah.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Burroughs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., just prior to the service.
