Molly Lucille (Driggers) Hicks

Molly Lucille Driggers Hicks, age 65 of Bennettsville, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, after an illness.

Molly was born November 16, 1956, in Bennettsville, SC, a daughter of the late Tom and Aline Jones Driggers. Molly attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was employed as a manager at Wendy’s. Molly enjoyed shelling beans and peas in the summer. She also loved going Christmas shopping. Most of all, Molly enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Driggers and Cecil Driggers; and a sister, Lois Caulder.

Molly is survived by her husband, Danny K. Hicks of the home; sons, Stephen Freeman, Jr, Wade Freeman (Amanda), Keith Freeman (Angel), and Robert Freeman (Brittany) all of Bennettsville; a daughter, Crystal Lane (Brad) of Latta; a brother, Quinnie Driggers (Lynn) of Virginia; a sister, Polly Torres of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Dakota Lane, Kaitlyn Freeman, Hayden Freeman, and Kinsley Freeman; several other extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the McCall Cemetery. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burroughs Funeral Home.
