Morgan Emilie Williams passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston. She was 22 years old.
Born in Florence, SC, Morgan was a daughter of Lemont “Lee” France Williams, Jr., and Amy Hatcher Williams. She was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to music and swinging in the yard.
Morgan was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lemont Williams, Sr., and Lavonne Odom Williams, and bonus sister, Rebecca Ainsworth.
She is survived by her infant son, Christopher Aaron Creel, Jr.; parents, listed above, of Bennettsville; step-mother, Lisa Williams of Bennettsville; sister, Madison Elizabeth Wiliams Cox (Kevin) of Dillon; bonus sister, Abigail Danielle Vazquez of Bennettsville; maternal grandfather, Charlie Hatcher (Phyllis) of Bennettsville; maternal grandmother, Patricia Conyers of Bennettsville; great-maternal grandmother, Bonnie Hatcher of McColl; paternal step-grandmother, Frances Williams; nephew, Jack Andrew Lee Cox; niece, Serenity Rayne Cox; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and other beloved family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Burroughs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
