Mrs. Vera Frances Langley, widow of, James Vernon Langley, passed away, Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC after an illness. She was 81 years old.
Frances was born on April 18, 1940, in Scotland County, NC to the late Colon Jack and Virginia Lorrain Snipes Quick. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and attended Bennettsville Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed dancing, watch TV, especially HGTV and her home remodeling shows, and spending time with family.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; son, Phillip Langley of Bennettsville, SC; brothers, Richard Quick (Linda) of Bennettsville, SC, Gerald Quick (Susie) of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Gary Allen Quick, Sr. of Bennettsville; sisters, Linda Quick Willis-Graves (Rocky) of Bennettsville, SC, and Joanne Quick of McColl.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above and brothers, Ronnie Mack Quick and Bobby Eugene Quick.
A visitation will be held from 11am-12pm, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Burroughs Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 12pm, officiated by Rev. Jerry Springs, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
