Blenheim
Myrtle Pauline Mumford passed away, Thursday, April 11, 2024, at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness. She was 89 years old.
Pauline was born on September 2, 1934, in Bennettsville, SC to the late Carl and Mozell Jones Mumford. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bennettsville, SC and a graduate of Lower Marlboro High School in Blenheim, SC. She worked in the Textile Industry, where she retired after 25 years. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, good preaching, loved praying for people, crocheting, making flower arrangements, talking on the phone with family and friend, showering her nieces and nephews with love and support, and most importantly she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; sister, Mildred Shaw of Blenheim; brother, Bobby Mumford of Wilmington, NC; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and sister, Louis Crowley.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm, Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Brad Leviner, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm just prior to the service.
