Pamela “Meme” Faye Pruitt Hatcher, 54, passed away, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her residence.
Born January 14, 1968, in Bennettsville, SC, she was a daughter of Roy A. Pruitt and the late Linda Faye Hyatt Pruitt. Pam attended Faith Fellowship Church in Wallace. She enjoyed cooking, scrolling Facebook, spending time with family and friends but mostly being a Meme and loving on her grandbabies.
She is survived by her children; Kassy Myranda Weaver, Courtney Elizabeth Weaver (Blake Elvis), and Rodney Allen Hatcher; stepchildren, Diana Nickie Hatcher and Jason Lee Hatcher (Valerie); her father and stepmother, Roy A. Pruitt and Patricia Creech Pruitt; grandchildren, Hunner Zachary Shelley (Courtney), Marissa Faith Swinney, Quinton Andrew Swinney, Ryker Blake Elvis; step grandchildren, Jordyn Hatcher, Jaila Hatcher, Nicholas Hatcher, Peyton Hatcher, Leah Hatcher; great grandson, Gaston Thomas Shelley; brother, Roy Anthony Pruitt; stepsister, Janet Sides (Rusty); special nieces and nephews; and closest dear friends, Tammy Turner, Jan Towler and Vickie Nolan. Pam was a kind loving person who left an impact on many hearts in her time here on earth and will be missed dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. just prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will visit briefly after the service at the funeral home before leaving for the committal service.
