Patricia Conyers, age 74 of Bennettsville, passed away on January 1, 2025, at her residence.

Patricia was born October 24, 1951, in Bennettsville, SC. She was a daughter of the late James and Addie Ree Taylor Conyers. Patricia was a graduate of McColl High School. She retired from Evans Correctional Institution, where she worked as a correctional officer. Patricia enjoyed consignment shopping, Madea movies, and cooking. She was also an avid sports fan, especially basketball. She loved watching the South Carolina Gamecocks. Patricia always found joy in doing for others. Most of all, Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Emilie Williams; brothers, May Jennings Taylor, Ray Conyers, Jerry Conyers, and Charles Conyers; and her sister, Faye Thompson.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Amy Williams of Bennettsville; her son, Travis Hatcher (Theresa) of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Cox (Kevin) and Caysen “Gage” Hatcher; great grandchildren, Serenity Rayne Cox, Jack Andrew Lee Cox, Morgan Dennis Cox, and Christopher Aaron “CJ” Creel, II; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

A graveside committal will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. in Rogers Cemetery.
