Mrs. Patricia Ann Freeman Stubbs, passed away, Sunday, February 18, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence after a brief illness. She was 72 years old.
Mrs. Patricia was born on August 4, 1951, in Bennettsville, SC to the late Leon Preston and Gertrude Driggers Freeman. She was a member of Bennettsville Church of God, where she served as church secretary. She loved watching Perry Mason and Gunsmoke, loved cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; brother, Ervin Freeman; sister, Shirley Mumford; and her yorkie, Scooter.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; husband, Ronald Stubbs; sons, Ron Stubbs and wife Somer and Ryan Stubbs and fiancée Shannon Jacobs; sister, Betty Walters; grandchildren, Nicholas Stubbs, Aaron Stubbs, Makayla Stubbs, Hunter Stubbs, Logan Stubbs, and Lucas Stubbs; great grandchild, Rawlings Stubbs.
A funeral service will be held 3pm, Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Bennettsville Church of God, officiated by Bishop T. Keith Hicks, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
