Peggy Ann (Hamilton) Haithcock

Peggy Ann Haithcock passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. She was 77 years old.

Born in Bennettsville, Peggy was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Fannie Holmes Hamilton. She was previously a cafeteria employee with the Marlboro County School System. She was a member of the Blenheim Church of God and enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, and watching westerns.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Robert Eugene Haithcock; brother, Paul Hamilton; and sisters, Alice Vickers and Betty Lowery.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Woodrow Clark of Bennettsville, SC, and Carl Clark of Georgia; daughters, LeeAnn Haithcock Anderson (John) of Bennettsville, SC; Sandra Morris and Samantha Clark, both of Georgia; brothers, David and Junior Hamilton, both of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jeremy, Lil J., Ashley, Anna, Preston, Jordan, Josh, Caleb, Carl, Elijah, Dennis, Marshall, Reginald, and Brianna; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
