Rebecca ‘Becky” Woodbery Polson succumbed to a nine-month battle with cancer on November 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was 63 years old.
Becky was a daughter of the late Gloria and Ronald Woodbery and a 1977 graduate of Asheville High School. She established her life in Marlboro County as a young adult and became a successful businesswoman, co-owning and operating Parks Galaxy for many years. She enjoyed swimming and painting and was a gifted artist. Becky also enjoyed gardening and loved the feel of the dirt in her hands. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother and will be remembered by all who knew her for her bright, infectious smile. She will be dearly missed.
