Rev. George Caulder, Jr., 89, of Bennettsville, SC, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at his residence. Rev. Caulder was born May 25, 1932 in Clio, SC a son of the late George Caulder, Sr. and the late Ellen Roller Caulder. He was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a Sunday School Teacher.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Caulder, Sr. and Ellen Roller Caulder; two wives, Shirley Freeman Caulder and Daisy Kirby Caulder; a brother, William Caulder; and a sister, Mary Caulder Meggs.
Survivors include his children, Frances Locklear (Evans), Sherry Wallace (Shunley), and Jason Pruitt (Megan) all of Bennettsville; a sister-in-law, Maggie Caulder of Chesterfield; a brother-in-law, Theodore Kirby (Avon) of Bennettsville; a close friend, Willard Quick; grandchildren, Matthew Knuckles, Ja’Michael Knuckles and Joshua Wallace; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2:30-3:30 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Friday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
