Richard “Ricky” Matthew Williams age 57, of Clio, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at his residence.

Ricky was born March 26, 1965, in Dillon, SC. He was a son of Mary Kathryn Norton Williams and the late Robert Matthew Williams, Jr. Ricky was a child of God and was loved by everyone. He faithfully attended Dillon Church of God. He had an outgoing personality and loved to joke around. Ricky also loved the Dillon Wildcats and Clemson Tigers. He enjoyed fishing, and his cat, Belle. Most of all, Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his precious granddaughter, Scarlett Rose.

In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by a brother, John Howard Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Flowers Williams, of the home; daughter, Miranda Williams Collier (Byron) of McColl; granddaughter, Scarlett Rose Collier of McColl; his mother, Mary Kay Norton Williams of Clio; a brother, Mark Eric Williams (Sara) of Clio; and several other extended family members.

A service to celebrate the life of Ricky will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
