Ricky Travis “Fat Boy” Hatcher passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after a sudden illness. He was 33 years old.
Travis was born in Bennettsville, SC on May 7, 1991, to Lisa Hale Hatcher Lowery and the late Donald Ray Hatcher. He was a General Foreman with Asplundh Tree Service. He loved his job, working in the garden, taking trips out of town, spending time with family and friends, especially his 1st Lady, Chelsey Odom and daughter Bryslen affectionately known to him as “Bug”.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving; his 1st lady, Chelsey Odom; daughter Bryslen “Bug” Hatcher; mother, Lisa Hale Lowery.
He was preceded in death by his father listed above, brother, Donald Wayne Hatcher, grandparents, Dorothy Hale, Magaline Turner, and Willie Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Dr. Eddie Pruitt, with burial at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, SC. A visitation will be held from 1-2pm just prior to service.
